Christina B. Kunec, PsyD, Director, Stamford Health Concussion Center
A clinical neuropsychologist, Dr. Kunec leads a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to provide a complete continuum of care to patients. She is responsible for conducting neuropsychological testing as the basis for guiding the appropriate treatment of pediatric and adult patients diagnosed with concussion.
Dr. Kunec received her Doctorate in Psychology at the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University in Pennsylvania. She also holds Masters Degrees in Clinical Psychology from Widener and in General Psychology from American University in Washington, DC.
Additionally, Dr. Kunec completed a neuropsychology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Sports Medicine Concussion Program. During her training, she provided clinical care and conducted research on sports injuries with elementary school children, as well as professional athletes.
