We are a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, designated by the American College of Radiology, and we offer:
- Real-time reading of screening or diagnostic mammography during normal business hours
- State-of-the-art 3D mammography, which allows us to review breast tissue in millimeter slices to detect breast cancer at its earliest stages and eliminate false positives
- A breast-imaging nurse navigator who answers questions, stays in touch throughout your treatment, and connects you with any needed support services
- Breast-conserving surgery whenever possible, such as lumpectomy or partial mastectomy
- Narcotic-sparing pain blocks that expedite recovery after surgery
- Reduced wait time for biopsy
Our Team
Our team includes physicians and breast health specialists who are highly credentialed and nationally recognized for their expertise. Among them are fellowship-trained female breast surgeons and breast-imaging fellowship-trained radiologists who are dedicated exclusively to breast care. Our technologists are dedicated breast imagers who are credentialed and licensed by the American College of Radiology. They work with expert pathologists to discuss—on a weekly basis—newly diagnosed breast cancers and breast biopsies to determine the best and most accurate treatment plan. Reconstructive plastic surgeons, medical oncologists at the Bennett Cancer Center, genetic counselors and a breast-imaging nurse navigator complete the team that is among the most respected in the area for providing comprehensive, personalized breast health care.
