About Me

Marisol Galvez, MSN, FNP-BC, CEN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who currently practices at Stamford Health’s Walk-in Center in Wilton, where she is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence- based, and patient-centered care. Marisol believes in shared decision making, trust, and collaboration are essential to building meaningful provider-patient relationships. She is passionate about helping patients feel heard, informed, and supported while focusing on preventive care, patient education, and optimizing overall health outcomes. Before joining Stamford Health, Marisol spent 24 years at NewYork- Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she served in several clinical and leadership roles, including clinical nurse manager in the adult emergency department.

Throughout her career, she has cared for patients in high-acuity emergency and trauma settings, radiation oncology, internal medicine, labor and delivery, and community health. Marisol earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a family nurse practitioner specialization from The College of New Rochelle. She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and also holds certification as a certified emergency nurse (CEN). Her extensive clinical background and dedication to quality care allow her to provide comprehensive and individualized treatment to patients in both acute and primary care settings
