About Me

Emily Rybnick is a board-certified physician assistant working in the intensive care unit (ICU) at Stamford Hospital. She completed her undergraduate education at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then attended graduate school at University of St. Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut receiving a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Emily began her career as a neurosurgery physician assistant, eventually transitioning to full-time critical care. 

Currently, Emily works full time in the ICU at Stamford Hospital where she provides care to critically ill patients and has also assisted in the implementation of updated neuro ICU protocols and practices. Aside from her time in the ICU she continues to work with the surgical subspecialty physician assistant team providing care to predominantly neurosurgery patients along with patients in other surgical subspecialties (urology and ear, nose, and throat).
