About Me

Dr. Sanford L. Swidler is a board-certified pediatrician. He’s been caring for children in the Stamford area since 1984.

Dr. Swidler earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He received pediatric training at Bellevue Hospital/New York University Medical Center, where he was also named Chief Resident in Pediatrics.

Dr. Swidler has served in many roles at Stamford Hospital, including:

  • Attending Pediatrician
  • Associate Pediatrician-in-Chief
  • Hospital Credentials Committee chairman
  • Pediatric Executive Committee member
  • Medical Executive Committee member

 Dr. Swidler is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University School of Medicine.
