Dr. Sachs practices all aspects of pulmonary medicine but his passion is helping his patients become more active and independent through pulmonary rehabilitation. He also enjoys helping motivated patients with their goal of tobacco cessation.
Dr. Sachs is a clinical preceptor for Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons medical students, and has been a principal investigator for numerous clinical trials in pulmonary medicine.
Dr. Sachs has been named a “Top Doc” multiple times by Castle Connolly, New York Magazine and Connecticut Magazine.
He lives in Stamford with his wife, Liz. When he is not working, he enjoys tennis, platform tennis, music and spending time with family.
