About Me

Prior to joining Stamford Health Medical Group, Dr. Karellas was a member of the faculty at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, serving as Director of the Bladder Cancer Program, and Co-director of the Testicular Cancer Program. He has far-reaching experience in the multidisciplinary management of all stages of bladder, testicular, kidney and prostate cancers, performing open, laparoscopic and robotic procedures if surgery is indicated.

Dr. Karellas also specializes in the treatment of urinary calculi, prostate diseases, men’s health and general urologic conditions.

He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and has been the recipient of awards for his research and teaching.
