How to Become an OB/GYN Resident

Thank you for your interest in our OB/GYN Residency Program. The application process is handled by ERAS. Please visit the ERAS site to apply.

What You’ll Need to Apply:

• Compete Application
• CV
• Personal Statement
• Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
• Medical School Transcript
• USMLE Step 1 Score >200
• USMLE Step 2 Score >200
• Three Letters of Recommendation
• Must have graduated Medical School within the last 5 years

Interviews:

Interview offers will be made via email starting the end of September. Interviews are held on Thursdays from mid-October through mid-January. If invited for an interview, applicants should plan on being at Stamford Hospital from 7:30am-2pm. The following is a breakdown of the interview agenda:

7:30am: Breakfast with current residents
8:00am: PowerPoint Presentation from the Program Director
8:30-12pm: Individual interviews with faculty and (1) PGY III resident
12pm: Lunch
1pm: Tour of Stamford Hospital main campus
