Stamford Hospital Receives National Recognition from the American Heart Association

STAMFORD, CT / June 23, 2022 – This month, Stamford Hospital received three American Heart Association (AHA) Get With The Guidelines and Mission: Lifeline achievement awards. These awards are for demonstrating commitment to following up-to-date, research-based guidelines for the treatment of heart disease and stroke, ultimately leading to more lives saved, shorter recovery times and fewer readmissions to the hospital.

Stamford Hospital received the following awards from the AHA:

• Mission: Lifeline® STEMI Gold Award
• Get With The Guidelines Resuscitation Silver Award

Get With The Guidelines and Mission: Lifeline put the expertise of the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association to work for hospitals nationwide, helping ensure patient care is aligned with the latest evidence- and research-based guidelines. As a participant in Mission: Lifeline and Get With The Guidelines programs, Stamford Hospital qualified for these awards by demonstrating how their organization has committed to delivering care in line with the highest standards of quality and clinical best practices established by the American Heart Association.
