Stamford Health and Hospital for Special Surgery Open New Physical Therapy Center in Harbor Point

STAMFORD, CT / July 20, 2022 – Today, Stamford Health and Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) opened HSS Sports Rehab – Harbor Point, a brand-new center offering sports rehabilitation and physical therapy services. The new facility will expand patient access to world-class musculoskeletal care in Fairfield County.

The 2,000-square-foot facility at 110 Washington Boulevard in Stamford, Connecticut is Stamford Health’s second standalone physical therapy and sports rehabilitation center through its collaboration with HSS, the first being HSS Sports Rehab - Westport, which opened in June 2022. The team of skilled therapists at HSS Sports Rehab – Harbor Point is experienced in working with patients of all ages and all levels of activity, from weekend warriors to elite athletes, and those who are looking to stay active.

“At Harbor Point, Stamford Health and HSS have teamed up to provide state-of-the-art rehabilitation and physical therapy services that are customized to our patients’ lifestyles and needs,” said Stamford Health Senior Vice President of Ambulatory Services & Consumer and Patient Experience, Liz Longmore. “In addition to Westport, this new location demonstrates the commitment to fulfill our mission in collaboration with HSS, to provide increased access to the best care in Fairfield County.”

The collaboration between Stamford Health and Hospital for Special Surgery launched in 2017 and created the premier center for advanced orthopedics in New England. It includes surgical capabilities at HSS Orthopedics with Stamford Health, located on the fifth floor at Stamford Hospital, and at HSS Orthopedics at Stamford Health’s Tully Health Center. Patient visits are available at HSS Sports Rehab locations in Stamford, Wilton, New Canaan, Westport and Greenwich. More information about HSS Orthopedics provided by Stamford Health is available here.

HSS Sports Rehab - Harbor Point will be open Monday through Friday with appointments available between 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Patients are encouraged to call 203-276-4765 for an appointment or fax their physical therapy referral to 203-276-4767.
