The new Stamford Hospital, which opened in 2016, is now complete with the new signage.
From Stamford Health: Stamford Health's Carl & Dorothy Bennett Medical Center campus is now complete with the installation of new signage at the corner of Broad Street and Hospital Plaza. Stamford Health President & CEO Kathleen Silard and, met with family members representing the Carl & Dorothy Bennett Foundation recently to unveil the new campus sign.
"The installation of the Bennett Medical Center signage is significant because it marks the end of a decade-long journey in which philanthropy has helped bring about incredible change," said Chris Riendeau, Senior Vice President, Fund Development, Stamford Health. "Thousands of families, including Stamford Health employees and medical staff, participated in Healing. Reimagined. – The Campaign for Stamford Hospital, which raised $167 million, earning distinction as one of the most successful fundraising campaigns of its kind in Connecticut hospital history."
According to Riendeau, much of the growth experienced at Stamford Health has been made possible because of the generous support of donors like the Bennetts, whose family through the years has made donations of more than $20 million to support the organization.
