About Me

Dr. Constantine Demetracopoulos is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Demetracopoulos studied neuroscience at Brown University in Rhode Island and earned his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. During medical school, the New York Academy of Medicine awarded him both the U.S. Albert Schweitzer Fellowship and the David E. Rogers Fellowship.

Dr. Demetracopoulos completed his orthopedic residency at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). During his residency, he was awarded the Joseph M. Lane Research Grant for his work in the biomechanics laboratory. He was also chosen as a Resident Scholar for the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society Annual Meeting in 2010. After his residency, Dr. Demetracopoulos completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Duke University Medical Center.
