About Me

Anastasia Slobodnick, MD, is a rheumatologist and internal medicine physician. She sees patients who have medical conditions that affect their joints, tendons, ligaments, bones and muscles. Dr. Slobodnick grew up in New York City and completed her medical education and training at New York University School of Medicine. Her interest in rheumatology was sparked in medical school when she had the privilege of observing a rheumatologist in practice and grew to appreciate the breadth and mystery of this field. Dr. Slobodnick is especially interested in the relationship between rheumatologic diseases and other types of inflammatory disease, including cardiovascular disease, cancer and diabetes. Dr. Slobodnick recognizes that each patient has unique needs and a patient’s medical condition is affected by his or her personal health journey. To best address the individual needs of each patient and ensure optimal outcomes, Dr. Slobodnick develops personalized plans to help diagnose and treat a patient’s condition. During her free time, Dr. Slobodnick enjoys reading, especially mysteries and historical novels, visiting art museums, traveling, staying healthy and fit and doing needlepoint.
