About Me

Dr. Allen Troy, a board certified orthopedic surgeon, has over 30 years of experience caring for patients. He has specialized fellowship training in caring for foot and ankle conditions.

Dr. Troy provides outstanding patient care, taking the time to help his patients understand their conditions. He is honest with his patients and helps them make healthcare decisions that are right for them. Caring for his patients is Dr. Troy’s favorite part of his job, and he strives to brighten everyone’s day with humor and kindness.

Dr. Troy chose to practice orthopedic surgery because he finds it interesting and challenging. He has worked at Stamford for many years, previously serving as the past president of the medical staff, a member of the board of trustees and the chair of the Bylaws Committee.

In his free time, Dr. Troy enjoys spending time with his wife, who is also a physician, and cooking.
