Joann Lodescar, MD, is an internal medicine physician who provides Primary Care to adults. She focuses on using preventive medicine to help her patients stay healthy and improve their wellness.
A native of New York, Dr. Lodescar attended New York University where she completed her undergraduate degree with a major in chemistry. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Health Greenwich Hospital.
During her residency, she was a leader of the Professionalism Committee, which focused on increasing patient satisfaction through communication and service, to enhance the patient-physician relationship. As a part of Stamford Health, she continues to place high value on patient-centered care to provide effective and efficient care for her patients.
