-Those under 18 will receive the Pfizer vaccine, as approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). Additionally, for individuals under 18, a parent or guardian must attend the vaccination appointment and sign a consent form that will be provided at that time.
-COVID-19 vaccinations are available for children between the ages of 12 and 15. If a parent or legal guardian cannot accompany a minor child to their vaccination, they are required to sign a consent form for the child to bring to their appointment. When you are eligible under the State of Connecticut’s eligibility criteria, schedule your first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson by:

What to Do if You Have a Cold or the Flu
To protect others from getting sick, you should cancel your appointment if you are sick. Wait until you feel better before rescheduling.

Is the Vaccine Safe if I've Recovered From COVID-19?
The COVID-19 vaccine is both safe and recommended for anyone who has recovered from COVID-19. It is still unclear how many protective antibodies develop in those who had a previous COVID-19. You can and should still get the vaccine.
