Maximizing Bone Healthy Nutrients & Exercising Safely with Osteoporosis
Register early! Space is limited.
In the U.S. today, an estimated 10 million individuals have osteoporosis and another 43 million have low bone density (or osteopenia). Getting nutrients from food is the best way to receive optimal nutrition to strengthen your bones. Improving balance during physical activity is also beneficial to those with a diagnosis of osteoporosis and related bone health conditions. This program will bring together expert clinicians to discuss the role of nutrition in bone health and how HSS focuses on five key areas (posture, flexibility, strength, weight bearing, and balance) to help people with osteopenia and osteoporosis lead healthier lives.
