ViSIG Research Study Protocol VS001: A Study of the Usability and Utility of ViSIG for Mortality Risk Prediction in the Intensive Care Unit

Study Details

Study Overview:

    • ViSIG is a predictive analytics system that accurately identifies critically ill patients at a high risk of deterioration, and does so in a timely fashion
    • It is comprised of two components: 1) the VS-Index, which produced a real-time severity score and send alerts to clinicians based on the score’s value; and 2) the Vital Signs Platform, a complete user interface displaying all patients and their acuity in an easy to follow manner.
    • ViSIG has been tested with data on > 100,000 patients from disparate ICU databases. It now needs to be tested in real time on actual data captured by medical devices
