Stamford Hospital's Rohit Bhalla, MD, Discusses National Health Quality at ACHE Congress
Rohit Bhalla, MD, MPH, vice president and Chief Quality Officer at Stamford Hospital participated in a panel discussion about hospital quality and safety at the American College of Healthcare Executives’ Annual Congress on Healthcare Leadership (ACHE Congress.) The ACHE Congress is taking place March 24-27 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, Illinois.
“The conversation about quality best practices is critical to the future of how we deliver medicine,” said Dr. Bhalla. “This meeting provides an opportunity to contribute to the growing body of knowledge about the integration of medicine, technology and care while collaborating with other leaders in the field to ensure information sharing and ultimately help enhance patient care while managing cost.”
Dr. Bhalla participated in a panel on Tuesday, March 25 called, “Eliminating Harm Across The Board: Achieving Ideal Safety,” which addressed how hospitals have successfully implemented programs to make hospital care safer and improve care transitions as part of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Partnership for Patients, a public-private partnership working to improve the quality, safety and affordability of health care for all Americans.
